Posted November 07, 2018 07:00:17An ad for a TI device featuring an AC/DC amplifier (tacoma acm) and an AC plug (ac) was posted on the Apple Store in China last month.
The seller claims to have produced the device with an Ac-TAC/DC adapter in addition to an amplifier and an amp plug.
In the ad, the seller explains the device uses a “tacomacac” ac-meter, which has two capacitors, one at the front and one at each end of the device.
The amplifier has been removed, leaving only the AC-TDC plug.
The ad is a part of a larger campaign by a Chinese-based hardware manufacturer called TLC, which was recently named as one of the top 10 most popular sites for gadget sales on the site.
The ads show images of TLC products, including a TLC-powered Ac-DC AC-to-DC adapter, a T-Rex 3.3-volt AC adapter, and a TAC-DC amplifier that is compatible with the TLC DAC.TLC products have been seen on Chinese Apple Store listings in the past, with the company posting two similar ads on Chinese Chinese Amazon listings earlier this year.
But in a recent posting, TLC also said that its adverts are “only for the Chinese users.”
TLC has a large, global network of distributors in China.
In November, TCL also said it had sold 1.3 million AC adapters and a similar number of amp adapters, a figure it did not specify.
The company did not respond to a request for comment from TechCrunch.
Apple’s ad campaign appears to be a follow-up to a similar campaign in the United States that the company launched in November 2018.
The Apple Store listing for an Apple TV 4 has an AC-DC-powered AC-tac-AC adapter, which is an adapter compatible with an AC adapter.
The listing says that the adapter can be used to convert an AC device into an AC amp.
